If you’ve ever dreamt of using a cruise ship like the ultimate hop-on-hop-off bus, Virgin Voyages is making that a reality.
The adults-only cruise line is introducing an unlimited annual pass that will allow travelers to board any of Virgin’s ships around the world for a full calendar year — and bring a plus one if they want. The pass costs $120,000 and is available on a first-come, first-served basis for trips starting next year, the cruise line shared with Travel + Leisure.
To take advantage, travelers must be 21 years old and book the pass by March 31, 2025, by inquiring on Virgin’s “Contact Us” page.
“I’ve always been a big believer in the power of travel and adventure to spark creativity and bring clarity. What started as a sought after ‘work from sea’ concept with our Season Pass has evolved into something even more special,” Richard Branson, the founder of the Virgin Group, said in a statement shared with T+L. “Now, Sailors can jump aboard any of our ships, across an endless variety of exciting destinations for an entire year. We’re offering unlimited opportunities for adventure in a way that has never been done in cruising before.”
The pass is available to purchase for a start date of Jan. 1, Feb. 1, March 1, or April 1, and will be valid for one full year after that date. Pass holders must still pay taxes and fees for the voyages they book.
With the pass, travelers will be able to board any of Virgin’s ships, including the three it currently sails (the Scarlet Lady, the Valiant Lady, and the Resilient Lady) as well as the Brilliant Lady, which the company will launch in September 2025 in North America and the Caribbean.
Pass holders will be able to book a Sea Terrace cabin complete with a balcony and hammock, and receive onboard perks like complimentary laundry, unlimited premium Wi-Fi, a $100 bar tab credit per voyage, dedicated concierge support, priority boarding, and more.
Virgin’s annual pass follows the company’s previous offer of unlimited seasonal passes. Those passes range from 24 to 40 nights and start at $14,999 for two travelers.
