Frontier Airlines is thanking its customers by giving away 1 million free tickets ahead of Thanksgiving to destinations near and far.

The low-cost airline is offering a 100 percent discount on base fares for flights booked by 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 20 using the promo code “SAVE100” on Frontier’s website. The sale is valid for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays through Feb. 26, 2025, according to the airline.

For travelers who need to fly on a different day, Frontier is also offering 50 percent off base fares for travel on Mondays and Thursdays.

“We are beyond thankful to our customers for their continued support and want to express our appreciation this Thanksgiving season,” Tyri Squyres, the vice president of marketing at Frontier Airlines, said in a statement. “Now is a great time to finalize winter travel plans and take advantage of this exceptional sale.”

The sale is available for both domestic and international travel, but a roundtrip purchase is required and tickets must be booked at least seven days before flying. The sale is also not valid during blackout dates from Nov. 26 to 27, on Nov. 30, from Dec. 1 to 2, from Dec. 21 to 31, from Jan. 1 to 7, from Feb. 13 to 14, and from Feb. 16 to 17.

While the base fare will be free with the promotion, travelers must still pay government taxes and fees and any carrier-imposed fees.

Certain routes are also excluded from the sale.

Frontier is an ultra-low cost carrier and charges for all extras from seat assignments to baggage allowance. However, the airline recently started offering more luxury options, including introducing a new economic business class and adding an “UpFront Plus” option, which allows travelers to purchase seats in the first two rows with a blocked middle seat for added comfort.

Earlier this year, Frontier eliminated nearly all change and cancellation fees.
