Buying airline miles just got a lot more rewarding with a limited-time sale from Hawaiian Airlines, especially as the carrier combines its frequent flier program with Alaska Airlines.

This sale, which ends on Friday, Nov. 15, at 11:59 p.m. HT, allows travelers to purchase HawaiianMiles with a 100 percent bonus when purchasing at least 3,000 miles. To take advantage of this promotion, travelers must log in with their Hawaiian Airlines loyalty account, which can be created for free.

Travelers can buy up to 100,000 miles per transaction and receive an additional 100,000 bonus miles at checkout. There is no annual limit, so they can return to the sale page to purchase more miles whenever needed.

The recent approval of the merger between the airline and Alaska Airlines allows members to transfer their miles freely at a 1:1 ratio and take full advantage of Alaska's well-regarded Mileage Plan, known for its extensive mile redemption options.

With this promotion, the price per mile drops from 2.54 cents to 1.27 cents — a significant savings compared to Alaska’s usual rate of around 1.7 cents per mile at its best. This makes buying Hawaiian miles a valuable option during the limited-time promotion, as they are interchangeable with Alaska Airlines miles.

“You earned them, you keep them,” the airline shared on its website. “With HawaiianMiles that never expire, our guests can explore even more by redeeming for free flights and benefits.”

The Mileage Plan program provides exceptional value, whether you’re targeting a business class redemption with Alaska’s partners or seeking savings on a domestic flight with American Airlines.

This points sale comes as Alaska Airlines announced a major revamp to its loyalty program for 2025, making it easier to qualify for elite status. In the coming months, travelers will benefit from enhancements that allow them to earn and redeem miles across multiple partner airlines within a single itinerary.
