Whether travelers are looking forward to skiing or the après-ski moments, American Airlines has dozens of round-trip tickets on sale for winter getaways.

“We’ve got the network to get you to the best winter destinations this season,” the airline shared on its website. “Take your winter adventures to new heights with flights to Alaska and some of the most popular ski resorts across the U.S.”

The sale has no specified end date, offering deals on a first-come, first-served basis through American’s website. Travel dates vary by destination, and utilizing the airline’s Fare Finder Map can help fliers locate the most competitive fares with flexible dates.

Travel + Leisure sifted through the promotion to find the most affordable itineraries from various U.S. cities:

  • Dallas (DFW) to/from Denver (DEN): $137 round-trip
  • Phoenix (PHX) to/from Boise (BOI): $148 round-trip
  • Washington, D.C. (DCA) to/from Burlington (BTV): $179 round-trip
  • New York (JFK) to/from Vail (EGE): $282 round-trip
  • Chicago (ORD) to/from Anchorage (ANC): $338 round-trip
  • Los Angeles (LAX) to/from Jackson Hole (JAC): $341 round-trip
  • Miami (MIA) to/from Aspen (ASE): $358 round-trip

Most of these discounted fares are offered in American's Main Cabin fare class, which allows passengers to change or cancel their trips in exchange for a future travel credit. Additionally, these tickets allow passengers to select a seat and bring both a carry-on bag and a personal item onboard, though there are extra fees for checked luggage.

This fare sale comes as American Airlines just started flying to Provo, Utah, for the first time ever, from its hubs in Phoenix and Dallas-Fort Worth. American's new flights to Provo are also available at a discounted rate starting at $150 round-trip, as the airport is just an hour from the renowned ski resorts in Park City. The major domestic airline has introduced these routes to its network to compete with startup carrier Breeze Airways, which has been serving these popular flights since 2022.
